Back to School with Hawk Bag

In a few days, most schools in the Philippines will be opening again for the start of a new academic year. With June starting today, I have seen many are doing their last-minute shopping in preparation for the upcoming semester. Aside from uniforms, shoes, and school supplies, another important thing not to be missed is a sturdy and fashionable bag.  Just in time for the school days, Filipino-owned bag company, Hawk, has recently held an open photoshoot at Splash Island. The weather was forecasted to be clear, so I decided to go for a casual and sunny look with a Read More …

Fresh New Look of Foodcourt at SM Fairview | Events

Philippines has been known as a country of malls and department stores and for the common Filipinos, dining in SM Foodcourt is a part of the culture. When I was younger, my family would go to a nearby SM mall and eat out in one of the stalls in SM Foodcourt. I remember the place would be always busy and noisy – full of people wanting to taste a variety of food. It seemed to be a challenge to get food and available seats at that time that it became a wonder to me while many still choose to go Read More …

My summer 2015 has been filled with a lot of new experiences as I traveled as much as I could. Now that May is coming to a close, I decided to stay in Manila after my several out-of-town and overseas trips. I didn’t imagine my second best favorite season would follow me here in my territory! Recently, the beach vibe was brought in UP Town Center for Banana Peel’s Summer in the City and I was lucky to be invited to grace the said event. Banana Peel, the first flip flop concept store in the country, showed its appreciation to Read More …

Endless Summer Fun 2015 with Dermplus

Sunny weather usually brings the feeling of brightness, cheerfulness, and endless amount of fun. Summer season is most often associated with sands, shorts, bikinis, and tanned skin that’s why a lot of us love to hit the beach at this time of the year. We love frolicking in the sea for hours and while this seems to be a perfect activity, we are also putting ourselves in risk when we don’t use appropriate sun protection. Exposure to the sun in long hours without a trusty sun block regularly applied can increase the probability of skin aging and worst, skin cancer. Read More …

Remington Product Launch in the Philippines

I have always been conscious about my hair. You see, I have natural wavy mane which is often frizzy, dry, and totally unmanageable. Having perfect hair is something I seldom experience. I believe that it is due to this fact, among others, that I was recently invited by Stratworks Inc. to attend its latest event. Last April 21, I attended the launch of Remington Hair Technology’s newest product line-up in the Philippines. The leading UK-based hair grooming brand has finally crossed continents and reached the country bringing its wide assortment of personal care tools and appliances to Filipinos. Green Sun Read More …

Last March 20, Dermcare opened its latest branch at SMDC Light Residences Mall. It was my first time to go to the newly opened SM mall and was surprised how near it is to my current location. Winners of C2 Sarap ng Bukas Music Video-Making Contest 2014

Last week, I attended the announcement of the winners of “C2 Sarap ng Bukas Video-making Contest 2014” held at Eastwood Mall. The big day was celebrated with young and aspiring Filipino filmmakers showcasing their own interpretation of C2’s “Believe. Achieve” soundtrack. A total of 82 entries were submitted, but only ten made it to the finals. As I sat back and watched the music videos made by the finalists, I was once again speechless on how talented Filipinos are. The ten have various concepts and different methods to capture interest and emotion from the audience. There were those which made Read More …
