Read for the Record 2012: Increase awareness on early childhood literacy

Join the Bug Squad at We Give Books!

Today, October 4,  is the Jumpstart’s Read for the Record Day 2012. This season, We Give Books’ cause is to help raise awareness for the importance of early childhood literacy and break a world record by having the most number of people reading the same book on the same day.

This year’s read is Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad written by David Soman and Jacky Davis. You may check We Give Books website to read it for free. Not only will you be able to read the book to the lovely young ones, but your reading will also have a direct impact on the work of non-profit organizations around the world!

So, head over to www.wegivebooks.org to Join the Bug Squad and find out more about this wonderful initiative, and start reading and giving.

We know the power of reading. Why don’t we share this to the next generation?

I already signed up. Will you?
