Review: Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Eye Tuck

Aside from Celeteque Sun Care Soothing Lip Balm, Unilab Philippines is so generous to send me another product for review purposes. This time around, the pharmaceutical company might have heard my wishes to have a bright under eye, so I was gifted with five pieces of Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener. If you haven’t heard of this dark circles lightener before, or simply not a Philippine resident, here’s a quick intro about this product.

HOW IT WORKS

Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener comes with Eyeseryl Tetrapeptide Complex which effectively counters the formation of loose skin around the eyes by improving skin elasticity and fighting water accumulation – the 2 main drivers of puffiness around the eyes. It also significantly lightens the skin around the eyes for a brighter and stress-free look, in just 4 weeks. [info taken from Celeteque’s website]

PACKAGING

This eye cream comes in a small, white tube with a twist cap. It has an elongated, narrow nozzle to squeeze out ample amount of product to use.

It has a white, milky, and creamy consistency. At first, it looked thick to me that I was afraid to apply it. However, it was surprisingly light and smooth. It easily glided to my under eye without leaving that greasy feeling. Furthermore, it doesn’t have any scent at all, which made me happier.

Have I mentioned about its moisturizing effect? This eye cream leaves the skin under my eyes well-hydrated after application.

I gave this eye cream a chance to lighten my dark circles by using it for a week. However, I didn’t see any noticeable difference, so I gladly switched back to my trusted product (review coming soon). Perhaps it is because I only used it for a week so it didn’t have any effect on me. What did not work for me might still work for you though.

PROS

Cute and hygienic packaging

Scentless

Not greasy

Has good moisturizing effect

Affordable

CONS

Did not lighten my dark circles

VERDICT

Celeteque DermoScience Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener is an affordable way to moisturize my under eyes. However, I’m afraid it didn’t live up to my expectation of lightening my dark circles. With continued use, however, one might be able to see noticeable difference after first use.

Do you also have dark circles? Which products have you tried and loved?

  1. I appreciate your honest review of this product. I have some dark circles under my eyes that I have just started to notice over the last couple years (since I had my daughter, coincidence?). I’d love to get rid of them!

  2. A very nice and honest review, and yes what might not work for you might work for someone else, I have panda eyes (dark circles) its most noticeable specially when I wake up when I haven’t put anything on my face yet, LOL So I would really love to try products to lessen it. Is the celeteque brightening eye tuck the most affordable now? I’m always on a budget so I want something affordable but of course I want something that really works.

  3. hi, i’ve been using this for 2 months now and it really reduces the puffiness. I just have a question. I’ve seen so many people saying we should use EYE CREAM. is this considered an eyecream? Or should i buy a new one and use the two of them? thanks.

  4. Interested to know what brand you trust for the eye cream. I hope that its price isn’t going to be a deal breaker since most products claiming to reduce puffiness and improve the skin’s appearance around the eyes are usually expensive.

Share your thoughts, I would love to read them!
