My summer 2015 has been filled with a lot of new experiences as I traveled as much as I could. Now that May is coming to a close, I decided to stay in Manila after my several out-of-town and overseas trips. I didn’t imagine my second best favorite season would follow me here in my territory! Recently, the beach vibe was brought in UP Town Center for Banana Peel’s Summer in the City and I was lucky to be invited to grace the said event.
Banana Peel, the first flip flop concept store in the country, showed its appreciation to its loyal customers as it hosted #BPSummerIntheCity at UP Town Center, Quezon City. The two-day event was full of summer activities for everyone who want to experience fun under the sun here in the metro. For a minimum receipt of PHP 300, customers got to enjoy all the treats the event offered.
The event had five activity areas like the Adventure Central where kids and kids-at-heart can play giant Snakes & Ladders, Tic Tac Toe and Jenga.
Come play Snakes & Ladders with me!
or Tic Tac Toe?
The Fashion-Forward Style Boulevard offers free makeovers, manicures, hair braiding, and face painting.

In the Bite Yard, various snacks and refreshments were offered free. I got to taste my favorite bread variants from Pan de Manila and downed them with a new Owl Thai iced tea. For dessert, I had Melona Korean ice cream!

Carnival Block was exciting but was not really lucky in the sort of games they offered.
Banana Peel’s Duck Hunt. Instant prizes here!
Beach Hut’s table pong game. I did not win here.
I won the ring toss for Mogu-Mogu though. Oh, I love this brand and at least one bottle is always present in my refrigerator. I have actually tasted all of its variants!
Was so happy to win the game and brought home additional two bottles and a cute plushy toy.
My most favorite is the Chill Area where my blogger friends and I took refuge against the blazing sun. Here we watched the stage performances and even played stage games.
