Oops, I missed blogging!

I know, I know, I am so sorry everyone. Pride aside, a lot of you are wondering what had happened to me. My blogger friends and some who really followed my site even went as far as to contact me personally to check if everything was alright. To all of those concerned friends and others who gave me and my blog a second or two of thoughts and worries, thank you. Until now I don’t know how I got such readership and loyalty from you, but I will always be grateful that you are with me in this blogging journey. Read More …

Live Life with No Regrets

They say that your own disposition determines the quality of life you will have. Do you agree? Personally, I do. I believe that with the right thoughts and character, we can be happy and contented. We can reach that state of bliss and satisfaction only when we experience life, learn how to bear with its course, and live with no regrets. I have read somewhere that the saddest summary of life has three descriptions: could have, might have, should have. Even in my early twenty years of existence, there are already many memories stored in my past which made me Read More …

Help, I need a new closet!

For the months of April and May, I was surprised to realize that I have shopped more than what I did for the entire 2012. Especially since the last week of April, I found myself frequenting shopping malls and department stores to buy clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories. Then I discovered my love for online shopping and had placed orders in various online clothing sites, too. In addition to that, I gained some blog sponsors who are willing to send me free items from their shop to review. Soon, parcels after parcels of items were being delivered to my house. Read More …

Fan girl: I met SHINee’s Min Ho!

I didn’t expect I would immediately adapt to my new working surrounding and colleagues, but shortly few weeks after I started I think I have found a friend. Jelyn, a Public Administration graduate from UP who is four years older than me, became my instant friend right after the final interview in my company. We share the love for food: pasta, cake, milk tea, and Oreos. We also love shopping, pigging out, taking photos, and immersing to different cultures. One time, we had a lunch out since there are too many important people conducting meetings in our company. While deciding Read More …

Thank you and See You Soon!

On the last Friday of April, my brunch buddies and I went out for dinner. Most of them haven’t eaten a Korean dish that was why I suggested a nearby authentic Korean restaurant for us to dine in. This get together was not thought out of nowhere; there was an important reason for us to gather and share a delicious meal. It was my farewell dinner treat. A month after graduation, I was accepted by a knowledge outsourcing company for an international publishing client. Stepping out of the comfort of school and home, I was nervous how to face the Read More …

Give your books a new, personalized home this year

Are you a bookworm like me? One who itches to buy and read more books than he/she can manage in his lifetime? Are you often seen in book shops, hauling new and old books alike to add to your ever-increasing to-be-read pile? If you answer yes, then I guess I am safe to confess to you this problem I currently have. It’s a given fact that I love reading. It is an integral part of my life. Of my existence. I go as far as to say that it is my lifeline. If I didn’t discover my passion for this Read More …

One of my most embarrassing gifts received ever

Today, one of my Korean friends invited me for a dinner out. I accepted his invitation and we met in a mall in Makati around 4 PM. We dined in Kimpura, a fine dining Japanese restaurant. While eating, he presented me with a gift. “What’s the occassion?”, I asked him with a frown on my face while attacking my tempura. “You’re welcome. Can’t I give a gift without a special reason?”, he answered with his Korean accent. I left it at that. Then curiosity kicked in and I opened the paperbag only to be surprised with what I saw. Seriously? Read More …

As I kiss blogging goodbye…

Last year, I was nursing a broken heart when a colleague introduced me to blogging. It could be an outlet of my emotions, voice of my thoughts, medium of my personality, bla bla. If a sales lady talks me of buying a new can opener with her melodious voice, I know for a fact that I will purchase one even if I don’t really need it. That is why it didn’t take long for my friend to persuade me to create a free account in this platform and write a mandatory introductory post. I struggled for the first few months. Read More …

My first blog anniversary + giveaway

It seems not so long ago when I started creating this blog and was surprised when a WordPress notification congratulated me for celebrating my first year in the platform. Wow. I didn’t imagine that I could maintain a blog for this long and it came as a surprise. I made it to my first year! The feeling is incomparable. This is my first blog ever and I feel very much accomplished to see how far I already am from last year. I created this blog as an outlet of my feelings, thoughts, and opinions. Honestly, I was nursing a heart Read More …

February 2013 Wrap-Up

Books read: 17 It’s the time of the month again. Even though February has lesser days compared to the rest of the months, I managed to read 17 books. Yay! A lot of people are asking me how I can read a lot of books in a short time. For a quick answer to others, I don’t use audio books. I read printed and digital books only. The thing is, no matter how busy I am with my family, work, and social lives I still find and create time for books. When my social life gets too hyper, like going Read More …
