Early Christmas presents for me!

Thanksgiving did come and go and I am very grateful with how I am doing in this blog. Now, I have almost 500 WordPress followers, plus SNS friends, so I really feel that I am doing something right in my writing (and ranting?). October reads

For this month, I have read only five novels. I am certain that I can finish my Goodreads 2012 Reading Challenge that I have started last June, but with my current rate, I also know that I am behind the schedule. 30-day Blogging Challenge: Day 17 (An art piece)

Last night, I have finished pouring over Rick Riordan’s The Mark of Athena. As the third installment of The Heroes of Olympus (Series 2 of The Olympians series with Percy Jackson), the novel focused on the quest the seven demigods from two camps (Roman and Greek) must complete and achieve. In the story, the Mark is a coin of an owl, an animal sacred to the goddess of wisdom, art, war, justice, and skill.
