If you are a frequent traveler like me, why not use the opportunity to actually get more from what you are paying? There are many established and rising loyalty programs out there for various businesses and airline industry is no exception.
In the Philippines, Cebu Pacific is the largest carrier in the country’s air transportation industry and I flew with them countless of times. Its loyalty program, GetGo, was launched this year and like other rewards lifestyle program, it lets clients earn points every time they fly with Cebu Pacific. Being me, I joined the program right away and had been saving points for my free flights since then!
Just recently, Cebu Pacific partnered with Robinsons Supermarket and P&G for a new way to earn GetGo points. Called “Buy More, Fly More”, the campaign lets shoppers of Robinsons Supermarkets save for a free flight through purchasing P&G products. Participating brands are Ariel, Downy, Head & Shoulders, Joy, Olay, Pampers, Pantene, Safeguard, and Tide. Promo starts 1 November 2015 and ends on 30 April 2016 and points can be redeemed until 30 June 2016.
For a single transaction, every PHP 500 worth of at least four participating brands is equivalent to one sticker. Collecting 12 stickers will avail a customer a free Cebu Pacific GetGo card with 2600 points. Normally, a one-way trip to Cebu costs as much points. For full mechanics, you can find it at www.robinsons-supermarket.com.ph
So what are you waiting for? Start earning points through your travels and supermarket purchases and soon fly for free!
I am excited to get my first free flight!
